What is a Move Manager?

A Move Manager is person or company who assists people sort through and manage the physical and emotional aspects of a move.

Move managers also provide insight for relocation or aging in place for the senior clients.

Think "wedding planner" but for your move.

Who does MI Moving Solutions serve?

We serve the senior community, working professionals, busy families and people who do not have the capacity (mentally or physically) to deal with the stress of a move.

MI Moving Solutions is a member of the National Association of Senior Move Managers (NASMM) and has completed specialized training for working with seniors.

What is Rightsizing?

Many people are familiar with downsizing, but haven't heard of rightsizing.

Rightsizing is essentially deciding what you need to fit the lifestyle you want to live. Rightsizing is more about function than size and being somewhere that aligned with your needs, goals and values.

People from all generations can rightsize.

What is Aging in Place?

Aging in place means that you would like to remain in your current home in order to keep your independence. This is a goal of many people.

As long as it is safe, accessible, and a support network is in place this is often a great choice.
